Flo Ankah is a theatermaker from France whose plays with music have been produced in residency at Joe’s Pub and Feinstein’s/54 Below. As a playwriting fellow with Athena Theater, she developed Green Apple Taxi, about a foreign artist in the city struggling to find her place. Flo has worked as a translator for John Oliver and the Comédie Française. She has also written commissions for Symphony Space and the Miami-Dade Auditorium. And she wrote the cover letter to her green card petition, which is a work of art.
Additional experience include performing in vast (Shrine Auditorium), intimate (Sleep No More/McKittrick Hotel), cultured (MoMA, Philadelphia Museum of Arts), playful (UCB, Comedy Cellar), and enclosed spaces (voiceover work).
